Engagement photos can take place right away or closer to your wedding date. I have found that there isn’t a “good” or “bad” time to take your photos. Some couples have a specific idea of how they want their session to feel and look while others appreciate suggestions. And if you are worried about what to do while you are in front of my camera, no worries at all...I've got you & am here to help!

This is the number 1 question that I am asked! No worries at all though...that is what I am here for! Most of couples feel this way so you're not alone. My job is to make having your photo taken fun and worry free. You will find once we get going, it feels more like we are just hanging out while having beautiful photos taken.

Do you charge a travel fee?

Weddings include travel up to 1 hour from New London, WI. Anything outside of that may incur an additional fee. No worries if I do need to travel though; I love that! Whether it's a few hours or states away, I'm game to be there with you!

do I need a second photographer?

For most the answer is no. I photograph the majority of my weddings by myself. All the images you see on my website and social media have been taken by yours truly. I capture both the bride walking down the aisle as well as the grooms reaction. Those special candid moments? I've got those, too.
Sometimes a couple may decide it's something they would like to have, or maybe the wedding situation makes its a necessity. 
If you're wondering what is right for you, I'd be happy to give my recommendation!

How many photos will we receive?

The exact amount varies from wedding to wedding. Per contract I guarantee 50 images/hour with most weddings far exceeding that. I don't cap off the amount of images you will receive. Basically if it's a beautiful image, you should have it!

When should we schedule our engagement session?

Some couples prefer to schedule them right away while others like to wait. There isn't a right or wrong way. Do what is right for you! During the week has the most flexibility and is when I photograph most of my couples. For weekend availability, it depends on the time of the year and my wedding schedule.

We love your work and are interested in booking. What is the next step?

Fantastic! Many couples like to meet on Zoom first to discuss details and receive assistance deciding on what they need. Others are good to go and ready to book. Regardless of your preference, to reserve your wedding date, I’ll need a completed contract and a 33% non-refundable retainer. The remaining balance will be due 1 month before the wedding. This is all done online to make the process one less thing you have to worry about.
